Concerned about invasive plants? You can help support healthy forests by becoming a Forest Hero! at the upcoming Forest Hero! Training. A Forest Hero! is willing to provide outreach to their communities about invasive plants. This training, co-hosted by Vermont Coverts, VT Forests, Parks & Recreation, and VTinvasives.org, is an opportunity to be trained by professionals in effective communication, plant identification, control options, and learn about resources available to support the work of each Forest Hero! You can take the workshop and then choose your level of commitment. Applications for the 10 open spots will be accepted through March 29th (Now extended to April 2nd), with rolling admission.
