Identification

Foliage

The leaf blade is compound, made up of two or more discrete leaflets, there is one leaf per node along the stem, the edge of the leaf blade has teeth.

Flowers

Small white flowers born on 4 to 10-inch panicle on new growth.

The fruit is dry and splits open when ripe.

Native to Eastern Siberia through Japan.

Anthropogenic (man-made or disturbed habitats), forest edges, meadows, and fields.
