Details:

• We’ll be pulling water chestnut out of Black Creek Marsh

• Bring your own boat (canoe, kayak), paddles, PFD, and collection bucket, basket or bag, and lunch

• Dress appropriately for a day outside on the water, rain or shine

Why:

• Water chestnut is an invasive aquatic plant that impacts the health of lakes and ponds, and im-pacts recreation

• Great way to spend an afternoon, and snacks will be provided afterwards in the park
