Emerald ash borer (EAB) is a destructive and invasive forest pest that feeds on and eventually kills all species of ash trees.  EAB is now confirmed in Orange, Washington, Caledonia, Grand Isle, Addison, Orleans, and Bennington Counties and communities statewide are encouraged to prepare for the impacts of the pest.

This presentation will provide an overview of the basic biology of emerald ash borer, its history in North America, information on Vermont's response to managing the pest and an overview of some basic management strategies that can be incorporated in EAB response plans.

This is a free event and no RSVP is required.
