Vermont needs your help!  Become a Forest Pest First Detector

The emerald ash borer and Asian longhorned beetle are right on Vermont’s doorstep and we need your help with education and outreach, volunteer recruitment, pest screening and preparing your community for a pest infestation.   Join a crew of committed volunteers with the Forest Pest First Detector Program.  The next in-person trainings will be held on the following dates:

Saturday, May 18th (rain date May 19th) 9:30am-4:30pm, Northwoods Stewardship Center, Charleston, VT

Saturday, June 8th (rain date June 9th), 9:30am-4:30pm, Merck Forest and Farmland, Rupert, VT
